Parallax Car Transport is currently seeking passionate individuals to join our team, ranging from skilled drivers to experienced operations managers and business development officers with salaries ranging from 32k to 39k. Business Support Officer (Pay Range: £31,960 to £39,000)
The Business Support Officer will offer operational and administrative assistance to improve the
effectiveness of corporate activities, support groups in resolving issues, and guarantee smooth
correspondence between clients and departments.
Important Duties: • Organise and assist with day-to-day business operations, making sure that assignments are finished on schedule.
• Act as a main point of contact for clients and teams, answering questions and resolving problems.
• Examine operational data to find ways to streamline procedures and improve processes.
• Create and preserve correct paperwork, reports, and records.
• When necessary, visit operational locations to offer on-the-ground assistance and resolve issues.
Qualifications: • A relevant degree and at least one year of experience working in an operational or administrative capacity.
• Outstanding English communication abilities, both in writing and speaking.
• Excellent problem-solving and planning abilities.
• Knowledge of business management tools and proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
• A current, full UK driver's license is necessary in order to visit operational locations.
Transport Clerk (Pay Range: £31,400 to £39,000)
Through schedule management, record keeping, and helping the logistics team ensure on-time delivery, the transport clerk will support the administration and coordination of transportation operations.
Important duties include: • Planning and keeping an eye on delivery and collection schedules.
• To answer questions and fix problems, communicate clearly with drivers, clients, and the logistics staff.
• Keep thorough records of all shipments and delivery paperwork.
• Monitor deliveries and notify clients of shipment progress.
• Verify adherence to transportation laws and company policies.
Qualifications: • A relevant degree and at least one year of experience working in a position involving logistics or transportation.
• Expertise with Microsoft Office Suite and logistics software.
• Outstanding problem-solving and organising abilities.
• Excellent communication skills both in writing and speaking.
• For occasional on-site assistance, a full and valid UK driver's license is preferred.
